On Wednesday, 19 August 2026, the Director-General of the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Mr. Bitrus D. Chinoko, led a delegation of the CMD Management on a courtesy visit to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Abuja.

The CMD delegation included the Director, Finance and Accounts, Dr. Falaye Olufemi; Director, Director-General’s Office, Mr. Francis Inyanya; Director, Human Resource Management, Mr. Aliyu Kabiru; and Director, Procurement, Mrs. Komolafe, among other members of the Management.

The CMD delegation was warmly received by the ICPC. The Chairman of ICPC, Dr. Musa Aliyu, was represented at the meeting by theSecretary of the Commission, mr. Clifford Okwudiri Oparaodu, DSSRS who led the ICPC delegation alongside Directors and other members of the Commission’s management

The meeting provided an opportunity for both organisations to interact and discuss areas of mutual interest, collaboration and partnership, particularly in the areas of capacity building, training, management development and institutional strengthening.

The discussions were fruitful and encouraging, with both sides expressing interest in strengthening the relationship between CMD and ICPC and exploring practical areas of collaboration.

The courtesy visit ended on a positive note, with the expectation that the discussions would lead to concrete initiatives and a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between the two institutions.

Overall, the visit was successful and provided a good platform for CMD and ICPC to strengthen their institutional relationship and explore opportunities that could benefit both organisations.
