From the Director – General’s Desk
The Centre for Management Development is the apex management development institute strategically positioned under the National Planning arm of the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
The Centre has its legal backing as the operational arm of the Nigerian Council for Management Development (NCMD) 2022 (As amended); with the Council as the regulator of the management training and consultancy sector in Nigeria.
The Centre’s mandate thus includes the stimulation, promotion and coordination of management training, consultancy, research and education which it delivers effectively with the support of stakeholders including international technical partners. It was certified a Centre of excellence by UNIDO in 1988. A status it relentlessly sustains.
